What an IRL streaming server actually does<\/h2>\n\n

When you stream from your phone straight to Twitch, the platform is watching your mobile signal.\nLose it for two seconds in a lift and the broadcast ends: a new VOD starts, your viewers get an\noffline screen, and most of them leave.<\/p>\n\n

An IRL streaming server puts a stable machine between you and the platform. Your phone sends\nvideo to the server; OBS runs there, permanently online<\/strong>, and it is OBS that holds\nthe connection to Twitch, Kick or YouTube. Twitch never sees your phone moving around \u2014 it sees a\nserver that does not move.<\/p>\n\n

When your signal drops, the stream does not. OBS switches to your \"be right back\" scene and comes\nback to camera when you have coverage again. For the person watching, nothing happened.<\/p>\n\n
